Die Gravur auf dem Klingenrücken ohne „royal“ bzw. „national“ sowie „imperial“ weist auf eine Fertigungszeit zum Anfang der Revolutionszeit hin. Das Fehlen jeglicher Punzen wie es auf frühen Revolutionswaffen vorkommt, untermauert diese Annahme.

The engraving on the back of the blade without „royal“ or „national“ or „imperial“ indicates a production time at the beginning of the revolutionary period. The absence of any hallmarks as found on early revolutionary weapons supports this assumption.
