Steinschlosspistole aus Braunschweig, 18. Jahrhundert.

Mögliche Modelle:

III. Husarenpistole um 1759

Länge: 52 cm, Lauflänge: 33,2 cm.

Kaliber: ca. 19 mm.

Stempel: Lauf hinten seitlich: gekröntes „V“ (Londoner Beschuss) sowie nicht deutbares Zeichen. Lauf unterhalb des Zündlochs: I: Löwe im Profil nach links?, II: nicht deutbar,

III: „XVII“. Schlossplatte: wohl Zepter und „CC“, Schlossgegenpaltte innen: „LÜDE“ im Rechteck.

Kleine Holzabplatzung an Schloss und Schwanzschraube.

Diese Pistole stimmt in allen wesentlichen Teilen mit der Abb. Pos. Nr. 38 II und Pos. Abb. 46 überein. Schloss, Schwanzschraube, Schloss, Sauschwänzchen, Messinggarnitur.

Length: 52 cm, barrel length: 33.2 cm.

Caliber: approx. 19 mm.

Stamp: Barrel on the back side: crowned „V“ (London proof) and uninterpretable mark. Barrel below the firing hole: I: lion in profile to the left?, II: not interpretable,

III: „XVII“. Lock plate: probably scepter and „CC“, lock counter-plate inside: „LÜDE“ in a rectangle.

Small chip in the wood on the lock and tail bolt.

This pistol corresponds in all essential parts with the Fig. Pos. No. 38 II and Pos. Fig. 46. Lock, tail screw, lock, pig tail, brass fittings.
